You see... at first glance, I appeared to be a strong, confident and successful fitness entrepreneur.
But in reality?
My body was weak.
I was cutting carbs during the week. Strictly counting my calories. Until I was starving. Then binge eat whatever I could get my hands on.
Ice cream, chips, chocolate, cake, wine.
Plus doing at least 45-60 minutes of cardio every single day.
You could call me a hypocrite for the way I was living.
Even though I appeared "strong"... I had lost my physical strength.
Some days, I just couldn’t take it.
So early one morning in February, I looked at my bloodshot eyes in the mirror...
I didn’t recognize myself anymore.
My body looked weak. "Skinny Fat". Exhausted.
I was stuck.
And I'd lost all motivation.
So there I was.
Sitting in my bathtub in San Francisco, curled up in a ball under the running shower water, crying hysterically.
Alone.
That was the moment I knew I needed to try something different... More on that in just a sec.
You see, I'm not perfect. Not even close. I have flaws and struggles I go up against on a daily basis. We all do. You. Me. Your next door neighbour. The difference is in how we choose to respond to these struggles.
I don’t want sympathy, or for this story to bring you down. I want it to lift you up, and let you to know I’m a real human, and I know how it feels to be weak and "stuck".
